All activities performed on the system are captured and recorded in the system log.

The Alliance iS HPLC system captures and records all activities and events performed on the system in the system log. Starting with version 2.0, when the Empower Authentication feature is enabled, all events recorded in the system log are logged with the user's Empower user ID (see Signing in and out with the Empower Authentication feature enabled). Events are saved in the system log for a period of 13 months and include warnings and errors, informational messages, and user actions performed on the system. At the start of every month, events older than 13 months are removed from the log. See Alliance iS HPLC system audit trail and Audit trail information in Empower for more information on the Alliance iS HPLC system audit trail.
