Signing out of the system

System users can sign out manually or will be signed out automatically based on a preset inactivity timer.

Signed-in Alliance iS HPLC system users (systems with the Empower Authentication feature enabled) or guests can sign out of the system. The system will also automatically sign out the user after a period of inactivity determined by a user with the appropriate authority during setup of the Empower Authentication feature. After a user signs out, auditable system events are no longer attributed to that user. To sign out from the system:

1. Tap the user icon at the top of the screen.
2. Tap SIGN OUT.
   Note: System users are signed out automatically if the system is inactive for a preset amount of time.
