Autozero resets baseline drift or noise in the detector signal and indicates system readiness. If the trace still drifts, equilibration is incomplete.

You can autozero the TUV detector signal from the Alliance iS HPLC system touchscreen, the console, or the method editor.

To autozero the detector signal:

  1. To autozero the detector signal from the system touchscreen, tap COMMANDS > Autozero.
A notification appears stating Autozero completed.
  2. To autozero the detector signal from the console, click COMMANDS > Autozero Detector.
Note: If the lamp is off and/or the shutter is closed, the Autozero Detector command is disabled.

A notification appears stating Autozero completed.

  3. See Method Editor app TUV Detector view for details on autozeroing the TUV detector signal from the method editor.
