Transient notifications
Topic LCI-USG-0239, Last Updated 11/21/2025

Starting with Alliance iS version 2.0, the system touchscreen, the console, and the method editor can display transient notifications.

Transient notifications appear at the bottom of the touchscreen display or the console window as visual feedback whenever a user initiates actions including but not limited to:

  • Starting or stopping flow
  • Setting temperatures
  • Resetting the system
  • Triggering an emergency stop
  • Turning the lamp on or off

These notifications provide immediate feedback and automatically disappear after a few seconds. The following figure shows an example of a transient notification on the Alliance iS touchscreen.
