Console features

The Alliance iS HPLC System's console allows the user to perform many tasks and saves time by minimizing movement back and forth between the Empower workstation and the system. The navigation panel on the left-hand side of the screen provides buttons for accessing views for performing specific tasks. The following table lists the views.

Table 1. Console views/buttons
View Description
Console Home view Displays real-time status information.
Console Setup view Prepares the system to start up or shut down. Manages solvents.
Console Plots view Displays up to ten diagnostic plots.
Console Workflows view Provides access to various workflows.
Console Commands view Provides access to various system commands.
Console System view Provides access to acquisition checks, performance counters, system logs, and service view.

The following table describes the controls at the top of the window.

Table 2. Additional console controls
Control Description
Console menu Provides access to system information, system files, and information about the logged-in Empower user; allows the user to adjust system pressure display units.
Filter The filter box at the top of the console screen provides a means for the user to search the console for various settings and workflows.
