The Alliance iS HPLC system or console displays a visual indicator when it is being controlled remotely by another application.

Starting with version 2.0, when an Alliance iS HPLC system workflow is initiated from the console, the touchscreen provides a clear visual indicator that the system is being controlled remotely, and vice versa:

  • A green border appears around the screen.
  • A green tag appears indicating that the system or console is being controlled remotely.
  • A dialog box appears containing:
    • Additional information about the remote control event.
    • A countdown indicating that the dialog will automatically dismiss after 30 seconds.

While the system or console is being controlled remotely, all pages within the interface are inaccessible, all UI elements are set to read-only, and all local workflows are disabled.
