Washing the needle

If injections are showing signs of carryover, users may want to wash the needle.

You can run the needle wash procedure from the system console.

To wash the needle:

1. From the console, click Commands > Wash Needle. If desired, follow the on-screen prompts to set the needle wash duration. The needle wash process runs automatically when the user clicks Save Changes.
   A Washing the needle notification momentarily appears on the bottom of the screen. When the needle wash completes, a Wash needle completed notification momentarily appears on the bottom of the screen.
2. Users can also run the needle wash procedure by clicking the sample manager icon . A dialog appears on the screen. Click Continue.
