Topic LCI-USG-0234, Last Updated 11/21/2025

The Alliance iS HPLC system tracks and records auditable user-performed activities in the system log and, optionally, in Empower.

When users with Empower version 3.8 or higher perform auditable activities from the touchscreen or the console, the system records those activities in the system log (see Viewing system logs for more information) and, optionally, in the Empower system audit trail (see Audit trail information in Empower and the Empower online Information System topic "Accessing the System Audit Trail"). The system records auditable, user-performed functions as tool kit in the action column of the audit trail table.

For users of Empower version 3 FR5 through Empower 3.7, auditable events are recorded in the system log (see Viewing system logs for more information) and the Empower message center. The system records auditable, user-performed functions as tool kit in the action column of the audit trail table. For details on the Empower message center, see the Empower online Information System topic "Accessing the message center".
