Flow control

Users can control the flow of solvents from the system touchscreen or the console.

Users can start and stop the flow of solvents, as well as specify the flow rate and acceleration from the system touchscreen or the console.

1. To control the flow of solvents from the touchscreen:
   1. From the Home screen, tap the pump icon .
   2. Tap Flow > Composition and follow the on-screen prompts to set the solvent composition. Tap DONE.
   3. Tap Flow Control and follow the on-screen prompts to set the flow rate and acceleration. Tap DONE.
   4. Tap COMMANDS > Flow Control, and then tap the pause button to stop solvent flow. When the dialog appears, tap STOP FLOW to stop solvent flow.
   5. Tap COMMANDS > Flow Control and tap the start button to start solvent flow.
2. To control the flow of solvents from the console:
   1. From the Home screen, click Flow and follow the on-screen prompts to set the solvent composition. Click Save Changes.
   2. From the Home screen, click Flow, or from the Commands screen, click Flow Control and follow the on-screen prompts to set the flow rate and acceleration. Click Save Changes.
   3. Click Commands > Flow Control, and then click the pause button . When the dialog appears, tap Stop to stop solvent flow.
   4. Click Commands > Flow Control, and then click the start button to start solvent flow.
