Release Overview
Recommended Use
waters_connect helps you accelerate the time to outcomes with workflow solutions ranging from quantitative, biopharma, and accurate mass-based analyses helping you reach new levels of efficiency, precision, and confidence. Key solutions available with this release:
- waters_connect for Quantitation — Quantitative analysis with tandem quadrupole mass spectrometry systems.
- waters_connect for Biopharma — Biopharmaceutical accurate mass applications for protein-based therapeutics, vaccines, and nucleic acid-based therapeutics.
- waters_connect for Research & Routine — Bioprocess accurate mass applications for process (spent cell culture media) and product quality attribute monitoring including the Bioprocess Walk-Up Solution.
- waters_connect for Small Molecules — Accurate mass-based solutions for screening of small molecules.
Base Kit
Enables access to platform components and core applications such as Hub, Administration, System Console, Device Management, Explorer, Qualification for general system use.
Key benefits in this release include:
- increased lab operational security with support of Windows 10 LTSC 2021 for workstation, LND and Clients PCs.
- Improved data migration tool for a more efficient and secure data migration from UNIFI Software to waters_connect platform.
- Japanese localization for UNIFI application workflows with Xevo G2-XS QTof, Vion IMS QTof and RDa/BioAccord systems to elevate understanding of product functionalities.
- Improved usability with waters_connect Explorer application for managing records and accessing general properties and information recorded in the audit trail.
- Increased system uptime with platform in-place upgrade mechanism and simplified product deployment.
- Increased laboratory operations efficiency with support for up to 4 Xevo QTofs on a single network deployment & support for 512e disk drives for Server PCs.
LC-MS Toolkit
The LC-MS Toolkit application enables data interrogation outside of the defined workflows; provides flexibility to the software that is needed for more advanced use.
Sample Submission | Acquisition Method Editor
Enables access to acquisition utilities used within the Biopharmaceutical workflow with BioAccord & the MS Quan workflow with Xevo TQ-S cronos, Xevo TQ-S micro, Xevo TQ-XS and Xevo TQ Absolute.
Key benefits in this release include:
- Increased productivity with parallel acquisition and processing with Peptide MAM, Intact Mass and MS quan applications
- Increased Lab automation & throughput with the ability to integrate with the Sartorius Ambr 250 system
Peptide MAM
The Peptide Multi-Attribute Monitoring (MAM) application enables monitoring of biopharmaceutical product quality attributes (PQA) at the peptide level.
Key benefits in this release include:
- Increased usability and product functionality with the ability to download Scalable Vector Graphic (SVG) images; overlay theoretical isotope distributions over acquired data; use Extracted Ion Chromatogram (XIC) with most abundant isotope.
- Improved processing speed
Intact Mass
The Intact Mass application enables biologics Identity and Purity confirmation for mass confirmation and purity determination of oligonucleotides, peptides, protein and conjugates.
Key benefits in this release include:
- Reduced time results for process development studies with the support of the Sartorius Ambr 250 HT Data Integration with INTACT Mass App;
- Increase workflow automation with 3rd party application with the ability to fully automate Acquire/Process functionality for 3rd party informatics to gain controlled access to processed results generated by the INTACT Mass App.
- Extended workflow flexibility with the additional data region events for tuning chromatographic peak detection and processing, more flexibility in 5’-Cap modifiers for mRNA analysis, and additional predefined glycosylation modifiers for antibody/glycoprotein analysis.
CONFIRM Sequence
The CONFIRM Sequence application enables streamlined oligonucleotide sequence confirmation and impurity characterization workflow.
Key benefits in this release include:
- Improved quality and usability improvements to the Sequence Library, Analysis, Reporting, and Audit Trail functions of the application.
MS Quan
The MS Quan application enables routine small-molecule quantitation and accelerates quantitation data processing and review steps with exception-focused review and easy-to-view chromatogram windows for multiple samples.
Key benefits in this release include:
- New Standard Addition processing allowing quantitation from samples with complex matrix effects
- Performance Enhancements which reduce processing/reporting times and file sizes
- Copy the contents of the unknowns grid to the clipboard, for export to other applications for further processing
- Side panel updates to show more detailed information and version specific identifiers for improved traceability
