This week we conclude our series on User privileges by looking at the Data Acquisition tab.
Let’s see how it’s done!
The privileges for data acquisition are found on the Data Acquisition tab. Let’s look at a few of these privileges.
One privilege is the ability to inject samples and acquire data. Without the ‘Acquire Samples’ privilege, the Run tool in the Run Samples window is greyed out.
Another privilege is ‘Alter Running Sample Sets’ which allows the User to make changes to the Sample Set while the data is being acquired. Without this privilege enabled, no changes can be made while the data is being acquired.
Other privileges include ‘Alter My Queue’ which allows a User to alter their own Sample Sets that are queued to be run and ‘Alter Any Queue’ which allows the User to alter any Sample Sets that are queued to be run.
One other privilege I would like to point out is ‘Warn On Service Limit’. This privilege allows a User to access and acquire data with a chromatographic system that is beyond the Next Service Due date. Note: Refer to Empower Tip 165 for more details.
It’s that easy!
