Let’s see how it’s done!
When a new Project is created or an existing Project is modified, the owner of the Project decides who will have access. The default is Owner Only which means only the User who created the Project has access to that Project.

The second choice is Owner and Group. In this case the owner can decide which Group of Users can have access to the Project. The type of access the Users in the Group defaults to is User’s Own Type. This means whatever User Type is assigned to each User in the Group will apply to what they can or cannot do in this Project. For example, User A has User Type Chemist and User B has User Type Analyst and they are both in the User Group which has been given access to a Project. When these Users open that Project, their privilege levels will be as per their User Type allows for.
The final choice for Project access is Owner, Group and World. In this example any Users outside the specified group has access to the Project with Guest privileges. This means they can open the Project, view the information in the Project, however, they cannot make any changes within that Project.
Access to a node can be shared within a User Group.
Access to a chromatographic system can be shared within a User Group.
It’s that easy!
