In this tip, I will answer a question from an Empower User.

QUESTION:

Is there an ‘Undo’ button when integrating a chromatogram?

Good question. The answer is yes; there are both Undo and Redo tools in Review.

Let’s see how it’s done!

A new Processing Method has been developed, and the chromatogram has been integrated.

In the upper tool bar within Review there is a tool to ‘Undo’ integration.

The Processing Method has been modified by adding a Minimum Area value, the chromatogram reintegrated, thereby reducing the number of integrated peaks.

A peak at 3.214 minutes was then manually integrated.

Using the ‘Undo’ tool, you go back to the chromatogram as it was in Step 3.

Using the ‘Redo’ tool, you go forward and the small peak at 3.214 minutes is integrated again.

It’s that easy!
